White Roses & Balloons: Pink lipstick, hat and... antique Market

Every last weekend of the month takes place in the center of Perugia, a beautiful antique market. I always enjoy a lot to peek through the stalls ... there are antique furniture, old telephones, bound books of the late nineteenth century, stamps, postcards and many other items. This is one of my favorite markets and I can always spend hours observing, touching and feeling old brooches, lace gloves, earrings and vintage straw bags. In particular, today there was a very nice lady who gave me lots of information about the splendid mirrors the early twentieth century ... and then toys and much more. I like a pleasant atmosphere around me ... journey through the years and if at any time I find myself imagine sipping a cup of tea on a ship in the U.S. with a hat on his head during the 20 years of 900, two steps behind and I find myself in full 68, with leather bags and pins to be applied to long pleated skirts for me ... this is fan!

Ogni ultimo fine settimana del mese si svolge, nel centro di Perugia, un bel mercatino dell'antiquariato. Mi diverto sempre molto a sbirciare tra le bancarelle...c'è una varietà sorprendente di mobili antichi, vecchi telefoni, libri rilegati di fine ottocento, francobolli, cartoline, arnesi e tripudi di chincaglierie. Questo è uno dei mercatini che preferisco, ovviamente, e riesco sempre a perdere ore osservando, toccando e provando vecchie spille, guanti in pizzo, orecchini vintage e borse di paglia. In particolare oggi è stato molto piacevole chiaccherare con una signora che, molto gentilmente, mi ha dato parecchie informazioni su degli splendidi specchi di inizio Novecento... Quello che più mi piace è che si crea attorno a me una piacevolissima atmosfera... viaggio attraverso gli anni e se in un qualsiasi momento mi trovo ad immaginare di sorseggiare un tè su una nave diretta negli Usa con in testa un cappellino durante gli anni 20 del '900, due passi dopo e mi ritrovo in pieno '68, con borse di cuoio e spille da applicare a lunghe gonne a pieghe...questo per me è spassoso!
